Overall notes about 1984

1984 - Our performance is called 2050
Using rooms:
Lecture theatre - Reception area
- Cold, business like area, projectors, surgical masks
418 - Winston's home
- Diary, half eaten meal, clothes
411 - Room 101 torture room
- Torture tools/handbook, sounds of other rooms
415 - O'brien's office/Monitoring room
- Files, videos, thought criminals
413 - Ministry food hall
- Food being served, oats and water (bland food)
The space - The group hate room
- Footage showing rebels, people against society, aggressive, brainwashing society
All hallways in between - Sound scapes, announcements, videos
The green space memorial - Rebels in revolution
Court yard (where the tree is & in between blue block and old building) - Exercise area - joy camp (labour) everbody in sync, exercising

Performance on 12th May 2014 ? (1 hour)

"Creating and devising an immersive theatre experience"

Audience lead - Audience can go anywhere
Audience wearing surgical masks
Audience is the own story teller
Every audience member has a different experience
Audience can open drawers and read diaries etc (everything made to be seen by audience)
Audience - Visitors to air strict 1, guided by limitations of our world

*Always in character (Constume including weapons)

Opposites - Love is torture

Set must include - Sound, smell, sight, touch and props

Multi media eg. Live video, lighting, smoke

Creating 3/4 hours worth of material

During performance - Revolutions

Look at assets of room and multi media opportunities

(Audience can open drawers and read diaries etc - everything made to be seen by audience)

Rebellion signifies end of performance

O'Brien dies at the end
